Hypocrisy surrounding drug use

That's an easy one: tax the allegedly harmful substances in proportion
to the harm they cause.  I believe that the revenue from tobacco
tax is reckoned to exceed the health care costs of tobacco-related
diseases.

This isn't the dyed in the wool Libertarian stance, of course, but
it seems the obvious pragmatic approach in a society which already
has taxation and social security services.
