Why on earth should prostitutes pay any more tax than other people? Do
you have any crumb of justification for this scheme, or is it merely
prejudice?

Incidentally, *prostitution* isn't illegal in the UK. However,
soliciting, kerb-crawling, brothel-keeping, and pimping are, so
prostitutes have no way to meet their clients, nowhere safe to take
them, and no chance of an enforceable contract with an employer.
