Since you seem to have the figures at your fingertips, just how much
*has* MPs' pay increased since 1979?

Even more interesting would be some actual salary figures for various
levels of nurses / MPs / other professions, particularly if you could
correlate them with the mean length of training / service typically
required to reach that salary level.
