Not completely.

The Powers That Be have decreed that the DNS is authoritative for the
co.uk subdomain, and there is a *.co.uk wildcard entry in the NRS for
the dwindling number of greybook only sites.

(I understand that there are similar plans for gov.uk and org.uk, although
the NRS wildcards don't seem to be in place yet.)

The NRS is still authoritative for ac.uk.

I missed it :-(.  But I did see Vicki Clayton with Ric Sanders and Fred
Baker at the Boat Race a couple of weeks ago...
