History and Risks of .forward

For Unix, MMDF uses .maildelivery, and PP uses .mailfilter. The latter
provides an awk- or perl-like language, which can do regular expression
matching on arbitrary header fields and other funky stuff.

(Incidentally, if anybody is converting from PP to qmail, we can let you
have two Perl scripts: filter2riddle, which converts a .mailfilter file
into a .mailriddle file; and mailriddle, which understands .mailriddle
files.)
