Desperately needed: Some way to get MS Mail for Windows into SMTP net

It violates a MUST in RFC 1123.  It's therefore not suitable for
connection to the Internet.

OK, I don't really advocate such an extreme position, but it's the
clearest example of the low quality of the product.  Considering what
it costs, it'd be nice to think that the implementors had read the
standards...
