Beg, buy, borrow, or steal a copy of K&R2 (in full, "The C Programming
Language", Second Edition, by Brian Kernighan and Dennis Ritchie, ISBN
0-13-110362-8, 0-13-110370-9).  Read it, do the exercises, read it
again.  Having done this, you will have a very good grounding in C.

Since you have programmed in other languages, this is the only book from
which to learn C.
