Wow.

I once read a (*very*) old physics book which stated that the pressure
of sunlight on the Earth is 4 tenths of an ounce per acre.

(Shame they were using the pound as a measure of force.  In the "pound
is a measure of mass" system, that would come out as 8 tenths of a
poundal per acre.)
